Hi BSD'ler,

Nachdem mein Woody Debian Router (durch Dummheit meinerseits) gehackt und mit einem Rootkit versehen wurde, wollte ich mal OBSD ausprobieren. Bis jetzt wünschte ich mir zwar lieber wieder Debian zurück, aber ich habe so viel Zeit investiert das ich jetzt vorerst mal bei OpenBSD bleibe. Ausserdem ist die Sicherheit bei diesem OS wohl auch nicht zu verachten.

Auf Debian war ich immer sehr begeistert von exim, also versuchte ich es auch unter OpenBSD wieder zum laufen zu bewegen, stoße aber auf folgendes Problem:

E-Mails werden zwar empfangen und nach /var/spool/exim geschoben, von dort aber nicht zu den einzelnen Usern Sortiert.

Der E-Mail Server soll in der lage sein E-Mails auf meine DynDNS zu emfpangen (zb. jens@havoc.homeip.net oder schwester@havoc.homeip.net) und welche mit dieser Adresse über den Arcor SMTP Relay zu versenden.

Vorhher mit Debian und exim 3 ging das einwandfrei. Unter OpenBSD und exim 4 stosse ich nun halt auf die oben genannten Probleme.

Ich hoffe ihr könnte mir helfen den E-Mailserver wieder so einzustellen das er diese beiden Funktionen unterstützt.

1) Logfile?
2) accept hosts = : beudeutet, dass nur von der lokalen Maschine aus verschickt wird, wen ich mich recht erinnere... aber erst mal dein log sehen.

Nachdem ich mich auf die Suche begeben hab, hab ich die Logs nicht wie üblich in /var/log gefunden, sondern in /var/spool/exim/logs.

Sieht aus, also ob ihm der Absender missfällt, *.bbtec.net, (IP= 218.130.128.159) passt nicht zu der IP von *jaydemail.com. Daher blockt er hier.

... Zustellvorgang bleit in Wartescheleife weil er das lock file unter /var/mail/ nicht erstellen kann (darf). -> Rechteproblem auf diesem Ordner. Du musst du beim Transport für "local_delivery" schon Gruppe und User
setzen unter dem das zugestellt werden soll. Denn per default ist das nicht gesetzt laut: http://exim.org/exim-html-4.40/doc/html/spec_15.html#IX1559. Du hast das auskommentiert in deiner Config. Damit weiss dein Exim eh nicht wie er was machen soll :-)

Ok, nachdem man die logs endlich gefunden hat, hätte man auch selbst drauf kommen können.

Nach ein bisschen rumprobieren funktionierts jetzt endlich. Fettes THX schonmal. Was ich allerdings nicht verstehe ist, warum ich das "Sticky Bit" als workarround setzten sollte und es damit nicht funktioniert hat. Hab jetzt folgende Struktur der daten:

Jetzt habe ich aber noch zwei Fragen:
1. Wie kann ich jetzt sagen das er die Mails ausm Spool nochmal versuchen soll zu sortieren?

2. Ich möchte E-Mails über den Arcor SMTP Relay verschicken. Unter Exim3 sahs folgendermassen aus:

1) Das müsste Exim nach einiger Zeit von alleine noch einmal versuchen.
2) In der Router Sektion heisst der Treiber "driver = manualroute", in der Transportsektion heisst es unter remote_smtp "hosts_require_auth = bla"

Ansonsten kann ich da nur auf exim.org verweisen :-)

Habe ein ähnliches Problem :-(

es schein so als würde mein exim die Mails annehmen aber dann nicht an die user (maildirs) ausliefern. ausserdem ist das gesammt spoolverzeichnis voll mit mails.
