KDE mit langsamem Fenstermove

Liebe Leute,

ich habe auf ein Macbook 6,1 ohne Probleme FreeBSD 10.1 installiert.
Auch mit KDE.

Leider kann ich nur sehr langsam die Fenster im KDE bewegen.
So eine Art slow-motion bei löschen und wieder neumalen der Grafiken.

Kann ich einem speziellen Grafik-Treiber wie
# kldload nvidia
starten damit die Grafik im KDE normal funktioniert
und nicht so lahm geht?

Da stellt sich natürlich die Frage... Was ist denn für ne Grafikkarte in dem Ding drin? Wenn es eine nVidia ist könntest du es natürlich mit dem nVidia-Treiber versuchen (den du natürlch zuerst installieren musst).
 
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB glaube ich mit sehr großer wahrscheinlichkeit.
(weil ich habe zwei macbooks 6,1. auf den einem hab ich mac os x laufen und auf dem anderem freebsd.
auf dem mac os x läuft steht halt "NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB" also geh ich davon aus
das das andere macbook wo ich mir sicher bin das es auch ein 6,1-er ist die selbe grafikkarte hat.)

hier noch mein dmesg-output - aber noch eine frage wie werden nvidia-treiber installiert? tutorial?

Wenn es nVidia ist dann war es früher einfach x11/nvidia-driver zu installieren und anschließend nvidia-xconfig ausführen. Das sollte die xorg.conf anpassen und dafür sorgen, dass alles nötige beim Systemstart gestartet wird (Linux-Compat, Kernelmodul, etc).

hat gereicht.
Das Macbook 6,1 läuft im KDE normal, also ohne Grafikverzögerungen
 
Der Ruhezustand, Schlafmodus, Energiesparmodus... Das was so eine vernünftige Kiste macht wenn man sie zu klappt.
Der Standby selbst ist dabei übrigens seltener das Problem... viel mehr das Aufwachen aus selbigem ;)
