FreeBSD stürzt gnadenlos bei Filesharing ab

Hey,

also vorab: Der Server mit FreeBSD 6.1 läuft eigentlich einwandfrei und sehr stabil, hab den Kernel schon oft kompiliert, burnP6 läuft, uptime hat er schon 48 Stunden mitgemacht, etc... Ich habe das System von einem Single Prozzi auf ein SMB System mit zwei P3s aufgerüstet. Funktioniert alles eigentlich wunderbar....

nur... ich hab auf dem Server ein paar DVD Images, die ich jetzt über netatalk oder über samba auf meinem MacBook brennen wollte. Vor dem Umbau lief diese Lösung einwandfrei und sehr stabil.

Und jetzt hängt sich FreeBSD komplett auf, so dass ich einen Neustart machen muss. Unter Netatalk bekomme ich noch nicht mal eine Fehlermeldung, habe es dann mit Samba probiert und er ist auch abgestürzt, dabei stand auf der root konsole folgende

Kann es sein dass es am Speicher liegt? Aber es kommt nur bei dem Filesharing vor. Die Festplatten sollten eigentlich auch in Ordnung sein. Alle Ports sind auf dem aktuellstem stand und netatalk hatte ich auch nochmal neu compilieren lassen und neu installiert, hat aber nix gebracht.

Achja, wenn ich über netatalk ein Image erst auf das MacBook ziehe meckert er nich..

Hat jemand einen Rat?

ich hab das gleiche problem, habe samba und per netatalk afp shares serviert, aber neuerdings stürzt der server ab wenn ich z.B. daten vom einen afp share auf den anderen kopiere.
ich frage mich ob diese meldung was damit zu tun hat.

€: ok habe jetzt netatalk im kernel, Yamagi meinte das könnte mit billigen switches zu tun habe.

Bei mir hängt sich der Rechner nicht auf, aber ich kenne das Problem, dass bei vielen Torrents oder auch bei afp das Netzwerk zusammenbricht. Schuld sind bei mir 3 billige Switche in Reihe hintereinander...

ssn's Fehlermeldung bekommt man in den Griff, wenn man netatalk im Kernel aktiviert.
 
aber dass ein billiger switch daran schuld sein soll dass mein komplettes freebsd abschmiert nur weil ich daten von einem afp share lese oder was draufkopiere?

Boote mal im Singeusermode und führe einen /sbin/fsck aus. Deine Festplatten waren/sind nicht ganz sauber...
