Schon mal versucht irgendein Wayland-Client im UEFI-Modus zu starten ?

kldload radeonkms genau machen?
Nach etwas Überlegung jetzt die Frage: Kannst du im BIOS die onboard-GPU komplett ausschalten?
Ich denke nämlich, dass es Knirsch gibt, wenn der ältere onboard-Chip mit radeonkms zwar läuft, die Vega aber nicht und andersrum.
Nein, das geht nicht, man kann die Prorität der GPU auswählen, die ist bei mir "PCI-E", es ist also, wie
@CommanderZed auch berichtet. Im Übrigen benötigt der eingebaute Radeon IGP aber auch amdgpu und nicht radeonkms. Der radeonkms ist für das Laptop. Da dieses aber nur einen Chip hat, schlage ich vor, wir bleiben zur Problemanalyse erstmal dabei und vergessen den PC mit der Vega-Karte. Also: Die Packages (quarterly) sind auf dem neuesten Stand. Nach einem

Spontan fällt mir auf "VT: Replacing driver "efifb" with new "drmfb"." Ist das OK so? Man könnte ja meinen, dass "efifb" (ich nehme an, das ist framebuffer für UEFI) an sich korrekt wäre, wird aber durch etwas neueres ("drmfb") ersetzt.
Wenn ich dann in eine andere Konsole als User wechsele (ist in der Gruppe "video") und
startx eingebe, bleibt die Sache wie gesagt mit einem schwarzen Bildschirm hängen. Die Xorg.0.log zu dem Zeitpunkt sieht dann so aus:

Darf ich mich da jetzt glücklich schätzen? Der Artikel beschreibt aber nur einen Hack in der Registry unter Windows. Ist da unter FreeBSD also so etwas überhaupt möglich?
Nachtrag: Sehr eigenartig, ich habe es nochmal versucht (also erst kldload radeonkms und startx), jetzt bleibe ich nicht mehr in einem schwarzen Bildschirm hängen, sondern startx schmiert ab und ergibt jetzt eine volle Ausgabe, aus der man vielleicht mehr entnehmen kann.
