Intel HD 4000 und Xorg

Hallo,

läuft die Intel Grafik HD 4000 generell mit Xorg unter FreeBSD 10.0? Ich hab hier ein Lenovo T430i vor mir, bei dem Xorg zwar startet, aber anschließend kein Bild anzeigt. Wechsel auf die Konsole ändert Intelgrafikspezifisch erstmal nix daran (ist newsyscons schon in 10 stable?). Lt. Treiberausgabe im Log unten sollte es gehen.

Als Grafiktreiber in /etc/X11/xorg.conf habe ich sowohl intel als auch vesa als Treiber probiert, leider ist das Ergebnis bei beiden das Gleiche.

Ich rufe als User startx auf und der Bildschirm wird und bleibt schwarz. Auch sehe ich keinen fluxbox-Prozeß, der lt. .xinitrc/.xsession (ist ein symlink) gestartet werden sollte.

Diese funktioniert auf einem ähnlichen Gerät älterer Generation (Vorgängermodell L420 mit Intel 2nd Generation graphics controller) und wurde per Xorg -configure von dem System so erzeugt. Ich hab allerdings noch den richtigen Treiber eingetragen. Es fehlen hier noch die richtigen Tastaturoptionen, aber erstmal würde ich gerne X sehen und benutzen können.

Hmmmm, das ist doof. Naja, werd bei Lenovo mal schauen, ob ich dort ein T530 mit Optimus oder so finde. Würde ungern, nur weil ich einen neuen Laptop bekomme, das System von BSD weg wechseln.

Was mich ein wenig wundert ist, dass der aktuelle OpenBSD Snapshot ohne Probleme bis in X reinbootet und dort auch, wie schon länger, ein Umschalten auf die Konsole ohne Probleme funktioniert. Die Manpower ist dort wirklich geringer, aber man orientiert sich wohl eher an der Linuxcommunity, als Ideen von dort zu adaptieren, wo das Umschalten seit Ende 2011 funktioniert und auch Haswell schon unterstützt wird. Ich weiss, die Systeme sind kompliziert, aber die BSDs sollten doch eigentlich eher voneinander portieren können, als aus dem Linuxlager.

Auch wenn der jetzt sehr geflamed klang, es war eher nur Hoiber ;)

Ich habe hier ein T430 mit Optimus (Leihgabe). Da habe ich im BIOS fest NVIDIA eintestellt und fahre sorglos mit dem BLOB.

Die Haswell Problematik hindert mich im Moment am Kauf eines neuen Laptops.

Ich hab @home auf dem Desktop auch ne nvidia werkeln. Allerdings teste ich gerade mal, wie OpenBSD mit dem Laptop läuft. Die WLAN-Karte wird auch unterstützt und muss nicht getauscht werden. Suspend/Resume müsste ich noch testen. Funktioniert das bei dem 430 unter FreeBSD bei dir? Das war irgendwie das größte Manko nach dem Wechsel von Linux.

Mit Vorbehalt, aber ich glaube mich zu erinnern, das Du als User der Gruppe Video beitreten solltest, bei mir funktioniert 3 D Beschleunigung einwandfrei, na ja Haswell HD 4600.

x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel nochmal draufgeprügelt, läuft! :)

Ich habe jetzt aber immer noch tearing. Mit compiz (fps-erkennung aus, 60 fps fest eingestellt, vsync an) ist zwar das tearing weg...das mag ich aber nicht als workaround nutzen.:ugly:
