SPLASH startet nicht beim Booten

Ich bin es wieder,

wollte mal die Sache mit dem Splash ausprobiren und hab mich genaustens nach der Anleitung gehalten. Beim booten sehe ich dann nur ein schwarzes Bild obwohl ich ein dementsprechend passendes Bild als Pfad angegeben habe. Hab die Permission auf 777 gesetzt (erst mal so zum Test) blieb aber ebenfalls erfolglos.

Hier die loader.conf:
splash_bmp_load="YES"
bitmap_load="YES"
bitmap_name="/boot/bsd_daemon.bmp"
linux_load="YES"
nvidia_load="YES"
acpi_load="YES"

Hier die loader.rc

Das Bild liegt in /boot.

Hat einer eine Ahnung?

PS: Die entsprechende Aufl÷sung hat das Bild. Im Kernel hab ich Splash und vga aktiviert (auskommentiert).

Das stimmt so nicht. Bei mir sieht die loader.conf folgendermaßen aus:

Und es läuft ganz normal. Vielleicht liegt es an deinen vidcontrol Einstellungen?!
