Hallo,

Code:
Hi,

I've been working on replacing the base linux distribution (currently rusty old
Fedora 10) with CentOS 6.5, likewise for about two dozen non-base ports - mostly
requirements of either net-im/skype4 or www/linux-c6-flashplugin11.

I mentioned that before on the -emulation@ mailinglist and got very helpful
feedback.

As I've run out of issues to fix and would like to reach a wider audience for
these ports, I'd appreciate if you could help me test it some more.

To do that, you can either:
* download the txz from http://xmj.me/freebsd/linux-ports.txz
* download the diff from http://xmj.me/freebsd/linux-ports.diff.xz

* clone my git repo; https://github.com/xmj/linux-ports/ (preferred)

and copy/apply them to your portstree.

In order to get either Skype 4.2.0.13 or Flash running, you can follow the
instructions listed on

https://github.com/xmj/linux-ports/blob/master/README.md

I hope they're by now sufficient to allow you to follow them "blindly". If not,
I appreciate feedback here on the mailing list as well as Issues/Pull requests.

Best regards and have fun testing,

Johannes

ALSA lib pcm.c:2209:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
ALSA lib confmisc.c:768:(parse_card) cannot find card '0'
ALSA lib conf.c:4185:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such file or directory

ALSA lib conf.c:4664:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such file or directory
ALSA lib pcm.c:2209:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default

und mittels dmesg:
linux: pid 1503 (skype): syscall inotify_init not implemented
linux: pid 1493 (skype): ioctl fd=30, cmd=0x8b01 ('\M^K',1) is not implemented

Aber es scheint soweit erstmal z laufen...

Danke für die Mühe, einen Port bereitzustellen !! :-)

Code:
> skype
/usr/local/share/skype/skype: error while loading shared libraries: libcom_err.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Skype Version: skype-4.2.0.13,1

Code:
xmj@mx12:~$ pkg which /compat/linux/lib/libcom_err.so.2
/compat/linux/lib/libcom_err.so.2 was installed by package linux_base-c6-6.5

Schau mal, ob du die base richtig installiert hast...

Hmm. Ich habe hier 6.4_1. Ich habe das diff verwendet.

OK, mit den github Daten passt es.

Schau mal nach
/compat/linux/etc/alsa/pcm/pcm-oss.conf.

Code:
xmj@mx12:~$ less /compat/linux/etc/alsa/pcm/pcm-oss.conf
# pcm-oss plugin configuration

pcm.oss {
        type oss
        device /dev/dsp
        hint {
                description "Open Sound System"
        }
}

ctl.oss {
        type oss
        device /dev/mixer0
        hint {
                description "Open Sound System"
        }
}

- Movie not loaded…
- About Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.341
