Update 10.0 auf 10.1, uname -a != freebsd-version ??

Hi,

ich habe gerade das Update 10.0 -> 10.1 installiert.

uname -a und freebsd-version zeigen nun unterschiedliche Werte:

root@zulu128:~ # uname -a
FreeBSD zulu128.local 10.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE #0 r274401: Tue Nov 11 21:02:49 UTC 2014 root@releng1.nyi.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-version
10.0-RELEASE-p16
root@zulu128:~ #

Woran liegt das?

Ja das riecht danach als wäre der Updatevorgang nicht vollständig durch gelaufen.

Danke für das Feedback.

freebsd-version -k und -u sagen mir das:

root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-version -k
10.1-RELEASE
root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-version -u
10.0-RELEASE-p16
root@zulu128:~ #

Das Update habe ich so gemacht:

Welcome to FreeBSD!

Before seeking technical support, please use the following resources:

o Security advisories and updated errata information for all releases are
at http://www.FreeBSD.org/releases/ - always consult the ERRATA section
for your release first as it's updated frequently.

o The Handbook and FAQ documents are at http://www.FreeBSD.org/ and,
along with the mailing lists, can be searched by going to
http://www.FreeBSD.org/search/. If the doc package has been installed
(or fetched via pkg install lang-freebsd-doc, where lang is the
2-letter language code, e.g. en), they are also available formatted
in /usr/local/share/doc/freebsd.

If you still have a question or problem, please take the output of
`uname -a', along with any relevant error messages, and email it
as a question to the questions@FreeBSD.org mailing list. If you are
unfamiliar with FreeBSD's directory layout, please refer to the hier(7)
manual page. If you are not familiar with manual pages, type `man man'.

Edit /etc/motd to change this login announcement.

freebsd-update fetch/install hatte ich doppelt gemacht, da ein Verzeichnis angemeckert wurde:

root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-update install
Installing updates...install: ///usr/src/contrib/tzdata/zone1970.tab: No such file or directory
...

root@zulu128:~ # mkdir -p /usr/src/contrib/tzdata/
root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-update install
No updates are available to install.
Run '/usr/sbin/freebsd-update fetch' first.
root@zulu128:~ # freebsd-update fetch
