USB Tastatur nach Boot zickig

Hallo allerseits,

nach Ende des Boot-vorgangs, wenn ich mich zum ersten mal am System anmelden will, macht meine USB Tastatur Probleme. Circa jedes vierte eingegebene Zeichen wird nicht richtig verarbeitet: Entweder wird der Tastendruck garnicht registriert, oder ein Tastendruck erzeugt unendlich viele Zeichen.
  • Das Problem tritt sowohl im X11 login als auch auf der Konsole auf.
  • Das Problem läßt sich mit einer anderen USB Tastatur reproduzieren
  • Das Problem tritt nach jedem Neustart auf

Zum Glück gibt es einen Workaround: Ich krabbel unter den Tisch, ziehe die Tastatur aus der USB Buchse und stecke sie wieder rein. Danach funktioniert die Tastatur problemlos. Den Vorgang kann man am Ende der messages Datei sehen:

Was kann ich tun, um die Tastatur direkt nach dem Start ohne Kriecheinlage benutzen zu können?
Wie kann ich herausfinden, was da wärend des Boot-vorgangs falsch läuft?

es gibt da ziemlich günstige Verlängerungen...

Ich täte mal den Single-User Modus probieren und sehen, was da geht. Dann ist das Tastenlayout noch Englisch (das Umstellen ist nicht ganz einfach, ich gehe davon aus, dass kaum einer das macht), aber der große Vorteil wäre, dass auch überhaupt gar keine Dienste laufen, die vielleicht zusätzlich in die Quere kommen könnten.
Sodann täte ich gleiches aus einer Live-Sitzung eines FreeBSD probieren, im Zweifel kann einfach die bootonly gebootet werden und dann die Installation vorzeitig beendet werden. PC-BSD oder so was wäre aber vielleicht auch interessant.

Je nachdem, wie die Ergebnisse aus diesen Tests verlaufen, würde ich dann weiter machen und evtl in meinem installierten System zusätzliche Dinge an USB weglassen und dann sämtliche zusätzlichen Dienste, die etwas mit der Tastatur machen können, zunächst weg schalten und dann nach und nach wieder einschalten. Dabei denke ich vor allem an Hal und dbus.

Ja, und nicht zu vergessen: mal einen anderen Port benutzen. Meist gibt es ja mehrere Steckplätze und vielleicht einfach mal einen benutzen, der möglichst weit weg von dem liegt, den du nun für die Tastatur benutzt.

USB Legacy war im BIOS aktiviert. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, war das nötig, um die Tastatur im Boot-Menü verwenden zu können.

Das Entfernen aller anderen USB devices während das Boot-Vorgangs hat geholfen. Die Tastaur funktioniert dann problemlos. Ich brauche den anderen USB-Kram aber auch.

Am Wochenende versuche ich es mal mit "hw.usb.debug=1". Vielleicht kommt was dabei raus.

Ich will meinen PS2 Anschluß zurück.
 
Dir kann geholfen werden, nachdem ich das gleiche Problem hatte. Die Tatstatur wird als Keyboard und Maus erkannt, sobald sich moused(8) auf das /dev/ums Device legt, blockiert die Eingabe. Rausziehen und einstecken hilft, das moused(8) es irgendwie beim zweiten Mal nicht aufgreift... Ich habe einen Patch gebaut und als PR eingereicht: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=180657

Das ist ganz klar ein Problem der Firma / Marke Filco. So gut das Keyboard auch sein mag, es darf sich trotzdem nicht als Maus anmelden. Schließlich ist es keine... Der Patch sorgt einfach dafür, dass die Maus ignoriert wird.
