FreeBSD 4.9 und KDE 3.2

Nachdem ich mit FreeBSD 5.2(.x) einieg Bauchlandungen hatte und nun mit 4.9 ein wirklich sauber funktionierendes und stabiles System auf meiner Hardware einsetze, beginne ich im Moment mit der Dateneinpflege von meiner Linuxinstallation, da FreeBSD immer mehr zum produktivsystem (Desktop) bei mir mutiert. Testweise, ich bin xfce4-Nutzer, würde ich einmal gerne KDE 3.2 aufziehen, finde es aber auch in den neuen Ports nicht, die ich mir als *.tar.gz vom Server gezogen habe (für 4.9).

Wie kann ich vorgehen?

KDE via Ports

If you wish to install KDE by compiling from source, the same notes for XFree86 apply. Then simply go to the appropriate directory (the KDE metaport is currently /usr/ports/x11/kde3/), and run

make install clean

Compiling from source should also install the complete KDE system and required dependencies (as listed above).
