Connectivity-Problem

Hi,

Ich habe ein Problem. Nachdem ich eine zusätzliche Netzwerkkarte installiert habe, bricht mir die Verbindung auf der alten Karte nach ein Paar Sekunden ein.
Genauer:
- Ich boote
- Ich mache ein Paar pings etc.
- Ich verbinde mich via SSH von einem anderen Rechner aus mit der Maschine
- Nach ein Paar sekunden ist die Verbindung weg, pings gehen weder von noch zu der Maschine

Also habe ich meine wichtigsten Konfigurationsdateien gesichert und neu installiert. Das Problem bleibt aber das alte, auch mit anderen Karten. Ich habe jetzt zwei CNet-Karten drin, die werden als dc0 und dc1 erkannt.
dc0 ist für's LAN, dc1 wird später für dsl benutzt, aber den habe ich erstmal mit "down" in /etc/hostname.dc1 dealtiviert

P.S.: Unter Neuinstallation verstehe ich folgendes: s0kill, partitionierung, labels, installation. Also habe ich jetzt eine frische Installation wie auf einem neuen Rechner. Vom alten System ist nichts mehr übrig ausser dem, was ich auf Diskette gesichert habe, und das habe ich noch nicht wieder eingepflegt.

Zuletzt bearbeitet:
hast du mal nachgeschaut ob die flags UP und RUNNING noch gesetzt sind, wenn du denn rechner nicht mehr anpingen kannst.
probiere lokal die IP anpingen nachdem es ausgesetzt hat.
vielleicht zweimal die gleiche ip vergeben. (selten aber möglich)
ziehe auch in betracht das es ein defektes patchkabel oder soger die karte ist.

zeigt dein dmesg vielleicht konflikte beim boot
 
ja, UP und RUNNING ist gesetzt. ich kann aber nur vom rechner aus ihn selbst anpingen. alles andere geht nicht
Konflikte gibt es soweit ich sehen kann keine. Die Kabel sind O.K.
 
mal das gleiche mit dc1 probiert.
ist pf eingeschaltet?
ip und netzmaske nochmals überprüfen.
 
Hast du für alle Interfaces auch die jeweiligen /etc/hostname.INTERFACE Dateien angelegt, die mindestens up beinhalten?

Schaue dier auch die manpage davon an -> LINK
 
Ich habe jetzt den 2. NIC entfernt. Das Problem besteht aber weiter: Nach einer Neuinstallation kann ich kurz Daten verschicken und dann ist Ende der Wegstrecke und Reboot hilft auch nichts.
Ja, die Dateien bestehen (bzw. im moment nur für dc0, weil der andere ja im moment nicht drinsteckt).
In meiner hostname.dc0 stand: inet 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 NONE
Ich habe das "NONE" durch "UP" ersetzt. Jetzt gibt ein Pingversuch: sendto: No Route to host. Ich habe keinen Gateway und keine Default route angegeben, weil ich nicht wüsste was ich für ein LAN angeben sollte. Was erwartet er da?
Btw, ich habe zwischenzeitlich neu installiert, die oben geposteten ausgaben stimmen nicht mehr unbedingt.

Das HowTo habe ich gelesen aber dort keine Hinweise auf mein Problem gefunden.

Nach längerem chat glaube ich langsam, dass es an der Karte selbst oder dem Treiber liegt. Ich werde mal ein Paar Realtek-Karten besorgen. Die sind vorher auch gelaufen...
 
laut ifconfig ist der rechner nicht am netzwerk.

nimm route add um eine default route zu setzen.
trage in der datei /etc/mygate das gateway deines LAN´s ein
danach:
sudo ifconfig dc0 down

sudo /etc/netstart
 
ich habe doch im LAN weder eine route noch einen gateway. Jeder Rechner kann ohne zwischenschritt erreicht werden. Oder irre ich mich? Was soll ich als route und gateway hinzufügen?

Dass mein rechner nicht am Netz ist meinst du wegen der media, oder? Die ist inzwischen 100baseTX full-duplex.
 
Hallo, ich bin's wieder. So, ich habe jetzt die davicontrol karten ausgebaut und durch realtek ersetzt. Es scheint wirklich am openBSD-Treiber für davicontrol chips zu liegen, denn jetzt läuft es wieder :)
