Hallo zusammen,
ich weis, hierzu gibt's schon einiges an Lektüre. Hat mich aber alles nicht so recht weiter gebracht.
Also, ich möchte das cupsd automatisch bei Systemstart(OpenBSD 4.0) startet.
Aus einigen älteren Threads hab ich mir erlesen das dies in /etc/rc.conf und /etc/rc.local hinterlegt sein soll. Am besten auch noch in rc.conf.local.
In die rc.conf hab ich folgende Zeile eingefügt:
# set the following to "YES" to turn them on
cupsd_enable=YES
In die rc.local:
echo -n 'starting local daemons:'
cupsd_enable=YES
# Add your local startup actions here.
echo '.'
Allerdings werden diese Einträge komplett ignoriert, ich muss cupsd nach wie vor als root starten. Wenn ich cupsd als normaler user starten will erscheint:
"cupsd: Child exited with status 1!"
Eine Datei rc.conf.local existiert bei mir nicht.
Kann mir hierzu vielleicht jemand helfen?
