ist immer auf der flucht
wie schon in einigen anderen threads erwähnt habe ich meiner freundin ein Inspiron 1300 geholt. nach einigem gefrickel ist nun alles installiert, windows weg, sogar refund für windowsbekomenn... der xserver läuft auf der richtigen auflösung, ABER ich habe keinen sound!
da ich diesbez. noch nie probleme hatte habe ich mir darüber vorher garkeine gedanken gemacht... naja auf jedenfall bringt

leider keine neuen geräte und kein /dev/pcm0 ... kann man da überhaupt noch was machen, oder hat sich das damit auch erledigt?

unter windows wird das ding als SigmaTel stac9200 erkannt und unter linux als

nur halt unter freebsd garnicht.
ich dachte da er unter linux ICH6-family sagt müsste es auch wenn der snd_ich treiber sein....
es gab auch einen request von jemand anderem zu der soundkarte auf einer der freebsd listen, leider unbeantwortet.
würdet ihr raten auf 6-stable oder 7-current upzugraden, bringt das was?
ansonsten muss linux drauf ;'(

auf den malinglisten hießes ende letzten jahres schon man arbeite dran.... ich hab mal angefragt wie der status unter current ist... ansonsten muss ich morgen kubuntu oder so draufmachen...
 
hm gibt wohl kein support in der current kernel und der oss treiber geht auch nicht.
