Digitalcam via USB unter 5.1 nicht erkannt

Hi,
ich möchte meine Digitalkamera unter FreeBSD 5.1 betreiben, doch leider wird sie nicht erkannt.
Unter Windows2000 läuft sie problemlos als Massenspeicher.

Ich habe schon mehrere Sachen mit 'Quirks' in umass.c probiert doch hatte leider kein Erfolg.
Ich habe meiner Kernelconfig die Einträge zum debuggen von USB hinzugefügt, vlt. kann mir einer Tips geben wie ich die Kamera doch noch zum laufen bekommen kann.

Kamera Modell: Praktika DCZ 2.1 mit 256MB Flash drin.

update dein system mal auf 5.2.1 ,da wurde der fehler behoben,
hatte auch nen mp3 player der auch so nen ähnlichen output produzierte.
in 5.2.1, geht er ohne probleme
 
ich habe mal ne 5.2.1 Mini-Install CD gebootet, die Kamera reingesteckt... es kommen die gleichen Fehlermeldungen
