Evolution unter KDE

Hallo, bitte um Entschuldigung, wenn meine Frage etwas laienhaft formuliert ist.
ich bin absolut neu bei NetBSD!

***und im falschen Forum !!! Sorry !!***

habe ein "kleines" Problem mit Evolution, lauft das unter NetBSD nicht mit KDE?
Bei Debian geht das!?
Habe mal den debug-output in eine Datei geschrieben, viel ist es allerdings nicht!
und sagen tut mir noch weniger!
...wer ist das wombat ;-)

Regarding the "cannot start the Evolution shell..." -- Evolution uses
bononbo-activation and oafd. It's all kinds of bad. The evolution
install adds new paths to the configs. I'm working on this now, but,
for the most part:

alias killGnome="bonobo-slay; oaf-slay; pkill -9 oafd; pkill -9 gconf;
pkill -9 bonobo; pkill -9 wombat; pkill -9 esd"

Run it and then restart evolution.

also ne antwort könnte ich dir eh nicht geben,
bin ein newbie,

aber ne frage habe ich:
warum nimmst du evolution???
dieses programm ist nun gar kein simpler e-mail-client,
sondern eher ein groupware-programm,
oder brauchts du diese funktionen??

weil, wenn du evolution nur dazu nutzt um emails abzuholen,
dann ist das ungefähr so,
als ob du ne postkarte mit nem tieflader abholst!!

wenn du nur emails abholst nimm kmail, slypheed , ....

...ich nehme Evolution aus Gewohnheit & wg. dem Kalender.
Da ich beruflich den ganzen Tag mit Outlook arbeiten muss,
gefällt mir halt evolution am besten ;-)

Welche KDE-Version nutzt du? Im KDE3.2-PIM-Paket gibts Kontact, einen KDE-Groupware-Klient. Der verpackt Kmail, den KDE-Terminkalender, das Adressbuch (und noch mehr) in einem (ganz netten) Frontend. Vielleicht wäre das eine Alternative...
