Fehlermeldung bei courier imap: login NO Error in IMAP command received by server.

Hallo,

ich möchte mir einen Mailserver aufsetzen und habe dazu postfix mit courier-imap über eine mysql Datenbank gewählt.

Leider bekomme ich beim Aufruf von 127.0.0.1 143 folgende Meldung:

Ich erhalte die Meldung immer, egal ob ich die richtigen oder die falschen Logindaten eingebe.... Ich habe bereits mehrere Stunden nach dem Fehler gesucht aber absolut keinen Anhaltspunkt gefunden. Es wäre wirklich absolut super, wenn jemand von euch einen Tipp für mich hätte.

Irgendwie weis ich hier keinen Rat. Solltet Ihr mehr Dateien brauchen sagt mir bitte einfach bescheid.

Es wäre schön wenn jemand einen Tipp für mich hätte. Da ich im Moment absolut ratlos bin. Auch das googeln bringt mich nicht im geringsten weiter.

Hoi,

setz doch oifach mal DEBUG_LOGIN=2 und starte den mysql server mit debug log. Danach siehst Du im Log vom MySQL Server was an Anfragen kommt (oder au ned kommt) und im Maillog was er sieht. Vielleicht hilft das ?

Hallo juedan und bummibaer,

entschuldigt für die lange Antwortzeit.

Im authdaemonrc ist der debug auf 2. Auch den MYSQL Log habe ich aktiviert (und getestet, dass wirklich geloggt wird).

Ich erhalte weder im maillog noch im Log für den MYSQL Server eine Meldung.

ähm # MYSQL_SOCKET /var/mysql/mysql.sock hast Du ein # davor und Port auf 0 ??? - worüber bzw. wie soll der eine Verbindung dann aufbauen ? - entweder socket setzen oder Port abär ohne eins davon wirds wohl schwerlich gehen :)

Hallo,

das Problem ist gelöst. Es war sowohl der Port 0 als auch dass ich zwingend beim telnet ein A00001 vor das "LOGIN" stellen muss.
