Hiho,

so ich bin inzwischen etwas ratlos, ich habe fast saemtliche Eintraeg zum Thema "kein Sound" in diesem Forum und anderen Orts gelesen. Es hat leider keine Abhilfe gebracht.

Irgendwie sehe ich den Fehler nicht. Der Sound-Chip wird auch von OpenBSD unterstuetzt. Woran kann es noch liegen?
 
Alles richtig angeschlossen hast du? Nichts im Bios "Verfriemelt" oder so? Nicht mehrere Soundkarten eingebaut (z.B. eine "normale" und eine "onboard?")

Kommt von den jeweiligen Programmen eine Fehlermeldung? (Kann Device nicht öffnen oder so?)

Kannst du direkt eine Sound-Datei auf die Geräteschnittstelle ausgeben?
 
Ich hatte zeitweise noch eine 2te Soundkarte eingebaut. Diese habe ich zwecks Fehlerbehebung entfernt. Im Bios steht die OnBoard-Sound-Karte auf [auto], die andere Moeglichkeit waere [Off] ;) . Ich habe sowohl per

versucht der Soundkarte einen Ton zu entlocken. Dann dachte ich daran das es doch ggf. auch daran liegen koennte das ein Kabel locker sitzt etc....Unter Linux ist der Sound Kristallklar :confused:

Hmm ... ich hatte/hab es, bei einem PC, das die Onboard-Soundkarte, einfach nicht unter OpenBSD funktiont hat, bei allen anderen Betriebsystemen schon.

Angeblich wurde alles erkannt und der selbe chip, auf einem anderen Mainboard eines anderen Herstellers funktionierte unter OpenBSD problemlos.

Da ich keine lust auf große Fehlersuche hatte, hab ich einfach den Onboard deaktiviert und ne zusätzliche Karte reingepackt, die in einem anderen PC unter OpenBSD ohne probleme funktioniert hat.

Tja, das wuerde ich ja glatt machen. Waere meine Soundkarte die ich ausgebaut habe nicht ein "Soundblaster Live! 24Bit" die nicht unterstuetzt wird(afaik) :(

Extra eine neue Soundkarte kaufen wollte ich eigentlich nicht. Auch wenn es diese recht guenstig bei eBay gibt.

Ich moechte doch eigentlich das mute=off ist?!

ok....es hat doch geholfen...oder doch nicht? Ich bin nun voellig verwirrt, die Ausgabe erfolgt nun ueber meinen Mikrofon Eingang( Hat die Farbe Rot steht so auch im Handbuch meines Mainboards). Wie bekomme ich die Ausgabe jetzt wieder auf meinen "normalen" Ausgang?
