Monitorauflösung 1920x1080

Hallo,

folgendes: da mein Monitor kaputt gegangen ist habe ich einen neuen holen müssen - (ist LG Flatron 2340T geworden). Bei der Gelegenheit habe ich gleich auch eine neue ATI Grafikkarte Radeon HD 5670 gekauft in der Hoffnung dass sie besser zu OpenBSD passen würde (bis jetzt GeForce 8600). Und nun das Problem: Monitorauflösung. Ich bin nicht in der Lage die richtige Auflösung 1920x1080 einzustellen. Die maximale Auflösung die ich einstellen kann ist 1280x1024. Was habe ich übersehen? Danke im voraus!

Der von dir verwendete vesa Treiber schafft nicht mehr. Du müsstest mal "ati" ausprobieren.

hi, so wie es aussieht ist die HD 5670 gar nicht unterstützt werde mir wohl eine andere holen müssen,..

Ja, die ganze ATI HD5000 Serie wird im Moment nur von Linux mittelprächtig durch freie Treiber unterstützt. Und auch dort ist es noch so wackelig, dass man es guten Gewissens eigentlich nicht empfehlen kann...

..das Problem mit der Auflösung HD 5670 liegt wahrscheinlich an der Karte selbst, beim booten habe ich auch nur 1280x1024. Nun dachte ich an Bios update aber das hat auch nichts genutzt, meine alte GeForce hat von Anang an die richtige Auflösung 1920x1080 siehe Bild .. hm,..
