MPEG Filme über s-video out abspielen

Hallo zusammen :-)

Ich habe ein Freebsd 5.3 auf einem Acer Extensa 3000 Notebook laufen.
Das gute Stück beinhaltet eine ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.
Zu meiner Frage:

Ich möchte .mp4 Filme über den eingebauten S-Video Ausgang auf dem Fernseher abspielen. Dafür möchte ich MPlayer benutzen.

Mplayer gibt dazu folgende Hinweise:

Basic options: (complete list in the man page)
-vo <drv[:dev]> select video output driver & device ('-vo help' for a list)
-ao <drv[:dev]> select audio output driver & device ('-ao help' for a list)

Leider weiß ich überhaupt nicht, wie dann letztendlich die Befehlszeile auszusehen hat, die ich zum Abspielen einzugeben habe. Für einen Griff unter die Arme wäre ich dankbar. :-)

Wenn deine GraKa einen TV-Out hat, musst diesen über den Treiber in der xorg.config aktivieren. Abhängig von der Hardware kann man so entweder TV und Monitor gleichzeitig (nvidia-Karten) oder zu mindestens eins von beiden verwenden.
Da ich da von Radeon-Karten gar keine Ahnung habe, googlest du am besten mal nach einem Tutorial ;)

Mit mplayer weiß ich nicht Bescheid, doch ich könnte mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass eine direkte Ausgabe des Films auf den TV-Out nicht möglich ist. Hierzu müsste das System entweder ein Device zur Verfügung stellen, was nicht der Fall ist oder mplayer müsste einen eingebauten Treiber für die Karte haben.
