PNP-Frage: FreeBSD 5.5 + ältere Hardware!

Hallo!

Ich habe einen älteren Rechner als Firewall-Router mit FreeBSD 5.5!
Zusätzlich laufen auf dem Rechner 2 Jails, eine mit Hylafax (Fax-Server), die andere mit CUPS (Print-Server).

Der Rechner selbst ist ein 166-MHz mit einem Gigabyte GA-586HX Rev 2 Board und 98 MB RAM.

Mich würde jetzt nur interessieren, warum er mehrere Plug and Play-Geräte nicht findet. Ich habe jetzt 2 Tage herumgeschraubt und die verschiedensten BIOS-Einstellungen versucht, aber es tut sich nichts.

Wichtig: Der Rechner tut alles was er tun soll optimal, aber ich möchte gerne verstehen, was nicht erkannt wird und warum!

BTW, in dem Kübel steckt auch eine EISA-Karte mit 3 Winbond-Chips (W86C450, W86C451, W86C456A), mit einem Paralell- und Gameport hinten und 2 seriellen Anschlüssen on-card. Ist dieses Ding auch zum laufen zu bekommen?

Ich hänge einen Auszug von dmesg und pciconf -lv an!
