Xorg - kein deutsches Tastaturlayout bei ThinkPad

[Ceres]

Ich habe mein Notebook (ThinkPad X60) am Wochenende auf FreeBSD 9,0 Release amd64 gebracht (Neuinstallation). Allerdings bekomme ich bei X kein deutsches Tastaturlayout hin.

Meine deryeitige xorg.conf:

Ich hatte ywischenyeitlich auch noch "XkbModel" "pc105" und "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys", aber auch damit trat nicht der gew[nschte Erfolg ein.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung, woran das liegen kann?

Klappt auch nicht, wie geschrieben, die anderen beiden Optionen hatte ich auch bereits ohne Erfolg probiert und als Driver "keyboard" statt "kbd" hat leider auch keine Auswirkungen.
