2 Probleme warscheinlich Xfree

Hi ich habe 2 Probleme mit meinem FreeBSD allerdings vermute ich das die irgendwie miteinander zusammenhängen.

1. Probelem ich kann meine Bildschirmauflösung nicht höher als 1024 x 768 stellen sonst crasht meine X immer wenn ich startx starten will

2. Problen Wenn BSD starte [default] bleibt er beim Booten hängen mit der folgenden Meldung:

Tja, da kann man leider nicht viel machen. Du kannst ja mal aus Spaß "ACPI" bei der "Suchen-Funktion" des Forums eingeben. Das ist ein bekannter fehler der 5.x-Serie. Das ACPI macht leider einige Fehler, aber es ist Rechnerabhängig. Auf meinem etwas älteren Rechner laufen die Versionen 5.2 und 5.2.1 nicht oder nur fehlerhaft und auch nur ohne ACPI. Auf meiner "großen" Kiste läuft 5.2.1 absolut fehlerfrei mit ACPI.
Wie du das ACPI dauerhaft ausschalten kannst findest du hier im Forum. Ansonsten wäre mein Tipp eine andere BSD-Version zu testen. Wenn man in der 5.x-Version bereits bei der Installation ohne ACPI startet, wird man bei Sysinstall irgendwann gefragt, ob man das ACPI dauerhaft ausschalten will.

Für die jetzigen Probleme kannst du aber noch probieren das ACPI im BIOS auszuschalten. Das Plug&Play solltest du auch deaktivieren, wenn möglich.

ok supper danke aber weiss jemand evtl. wie ich das Problem mit der auflösung in griff bekommen kann ??

btw woran kann das liegen mit ACPI und der Auflösung ?? Monitor Grafikkarte oder kann man irgendwie herausfinden welche Hardware dafür verantwortlich ist ?
