Habe eben mal nach meiner eigenen "alten Tante" gesehen. Der Rechner hat zwar nie so lange Uptimes, weil ich einmal im Jahr abschalte zum Staub saugen und außerdem häufiger mal ein Stromausfall dafür sorgt, dass er neu starten muss, aber eine der fünf Platten läuft dort auch schon seit Anfang durch. Ich erinner mich, dass sie mal 78000 nochwas an Stunden hatte, als ich sie eigentlich vorsorglich erneuern wollte. Damals war die letzte gestorben, die mit ihr zusammen eingebaut worden war.
Schließlich brachte ich es nicht über Herz und ließ sie verbaut, nur, um mal zu sehen, wann sie denn sterben würde.
Nun sehe ich nur noch

Ist es möglich, dass der Stundenzähler bei 100.000 begrenzt ist und dann wieder neu anfängt?
 
Ja, bei älteren Platten und anderer Hardware laufen die Stundenzähler irgendwann über. Früher waren 2^32 Millisekunden (etwa 49 Tage) recht beliebt, aber irgendwann hat man das mal erhöht.

818 Tage waren es vorhin dann geworden. Mal sehen, ob ich das nochmal mit ner Kiste hinbekomme.
Die Daten wurden erfolgreich davon kopiert (man hörte von mind. einer Platte quietschige Motoraussetzer, lief aber immer wieder an und ZFS meldete keine Lesefehler). Danach hab ich noch eine Zigarette geraucht und arg mitleidig 'init 0' abgefeuert. :rolleyes:

Da hat der Hersteller wohl kein Vertrauen in sein Produkt wie bei nem 5-stelligen Autotacho oder die Späße, wo nach 299.999 wieder genullt wurde. :D
