Es geht um einen Rechner, der neben dem Fernseher steht und keinen anderen Zweck hat, als KODI zu gucken. Bisher hatte ich die Graka (Geforce 450 GTS) über ein VGA-Kabel an den Fernseher angeschlossen, Audio ging über ein Audiokabel vom Onboard Sound Chip ebenfalls zum Fernseher. Das Bild am Ferseher war immer perfekt.
Nun habe ich mir gestern ein HDMI-Kabel gekauft, da die Graka über einen solchen Anschluss verfügt und ich die beiden anderen Kabel dadurch ersetzen wollte.
Klappt auch ganz gut, das Bild erscheint vom Farbbild her sogar besser zu sein, auch der Audioklang ist wesentlich besser (war der eigentliche Sinn der Übung).
Allerdings ist das Bild jetzt merklich etwas zu groß, es verliert einige Zentimeter an den vier Rändern.
Hier zunächst mal einige Ausgaben:
Anmerkung: Der Eintrag
ist unbedingt nötig, da sonst alle Zeichen miniklein erscheinen.
Ich habe aber trotzdem zum Ausprobieren den Eintrag auskommentiert und X neu gestartet, die Zeichen erscheinen wie gesagt zu klein und das Bild ist trotzdem zu groß.
