OpenBSD läuft mit dem radeondrm-Treiber.
Nur mal so nachgefragt für mich zum Verständnis.

Traditionell ist es ja so, das Xorg quasi seine eigenen Grafiktreiber mit bringt. Vor ein "paar" Jahren hat sich das ja dann geändert. Die Xorg-Treiber gibts zwar immer noch aber insbesondere bei Linux ist man den Weg gegangen, Grafiktreiber nicht mehr allein Xorg zu überlassen. Es gibt Kernelmodule usw. und wenn Du heute unter Linux oder auch FreeBSD ein Xorg startet, dann setzt das quasi darauf auf.

Jetzt sozusagen zu meiner Frage: Wie ist das unter OpenBSD? Wird dabei Xorg noch ganz klassisch der Xorg-inkludierte Grafiktreiber benutzt oder ist das bei OpenBSD inzwischen auch so, das sich da der "Treiberstack" geändert hat und man hat auch irgendwie ein Kernelmodul und eine Xorg-unabhängige Bibliothek usw. ?
 
Bist du mit der 8000er sicher? Ich meine das wäre oft ne 7000er, je nach CPU glaub ich?
Von der Wahrscheinlichkeit her hab ich das geraten, die gelisteten APUs im Manual des Boards wiesen hauptsächlich eine HD8xxx vor. Aber anyway, die GPU wurde korrekt erkannt, codename 'Aruba' passt. :)

Ich kann die Probleme mit gnubg and gnome-mahjongg auf einem Lenovo X230 ebenfalls nachvollziehen. Die Ursache scheint jedoch beim Cairo 1.17.8 Paket zu liegen, siehe auch https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-mahjongg/-/issues/37
Aus meiner Sicht könnte man jetzt auf der ports@ Mailinglist einen Request aufmachen. Da Cairo jedoch u.a. von Chromium, Firefox, Geany & Co. benutzt wird, könnte es etwas länger dauern, bis ein Update bereit steht.

Ja, das ist bei OBSD auch so.
 
Wer weiss, was dann nicht mehr ordentlich läuft, womöglich wichtigere Apps als Mahjongg.
