Help ! (Translations for RoFreeSBIE-1.2 Live DVD)

Hi !

Sorry for using english .I dont speak german .

My name is Angelescu Ovidiu and I am the developer of RoFreeSBIE .
RoFreeSBIE is a live CD/DVD based on FreeBSD.
One of your conationals promised to help me with some translations for RoFreeSBIE-1.2
and he let me down.
Because I want to add german language in KDE I need some menus introduced by me to be translated from english in german.

Can somebody help me ?

I've think you work with the packages. I dont work with KDE (to big for me) i seem kde-i18n-de has the german menus inside.
Please post a list of menus you need. We will try to translate.

I'm wondering if you can just point us to a resource file for translation? It wouldn't be a hard job for somebody here to translate a few single menu items.

If the translation work is going to be done here in the (public) forum, you would profit from more eyes viewing and the translation would be correct and easy.

Hi !

For those who can help me please sent me an e-mail to be able to sent an archive with the files needed for translation.Open the archive and
open each file with an editor and if you find sections like Name[en]=......... please add a section Name[de]=yours translation.
The files need to be saved with UTF8 encoding.
For doing french and romanian I have used kwrite.
That's the idea.
Can I attach a file here ?
Since I dont speak german i dont know how.

Here we've got the patch with some last necessary changes:

1) s/schließen/trennen/g

2) shutdown -h = herunterfahren

3) shutdown -p = ausschalten

Of course you can use the logo as well as the scripts, as the license states. I am glad you're willing to use and modify them. A link to whereever you intend to use the stuff would be nice, but is not required.

Yes, it's the same translation I posted before, apart from those changes. You can use the patch command to apply the file. Or if you wish I can send you the finished translation in a tar ball.

Der Server rofreesbie.snobu.org ist recht langsam. Also hab ich mich entschlossen das rc3 auch auf meinem Server anzubieten http://u-bus.homeunix.net/rofreesbie-1.2rc3.iso .

Die deutsche Übersetzung ist noch nicht eingepflegt. Außerdem wartet der Entwickler noch auf eine russische Übersetzung welche dann afaik gesammelt in den nächsten rc oder das release einfließen soll.
