Hallo liebe Gemeinde :)
Ich bin ein ziemlicher Anfänger auf dem BSD-Gebiet, finde *nix aber einfach sau geil. Deswegen wollte ich auch wechseln bzw beides benutzen ( Linux und *BSD ). Nun zu meiner Frage:

Ich habe einen Acer Nitro 5 (an515-55) Laptop, und auf dem wird meine Netzwerkkarte von FreeBSD nicht erkannt. 'ifconfig' spuckt nur das loopback device aus... Was kann ich tun??
 
...und noch ein pciconf -lv ist ganz dienlich. Bitte alles in [code]-tags packen, damit es gut lesbar ist. ;)

soweit ich das sehe hat das Notebook lt. Datenblatt eine "Killer LAN 2600" NIC von Intel - lt Internet wird die wohl von keinem *BSD unterstützt da die recht exklusiv für Gaming-Geräte gebaut wird - das ist keine besonders intensiv verfolge Zielplattform der *BSDs sag ich jetzt mal vorsichtig.

Du könntest dir mit einem USB-LAN-Adapter behelfen.

sieht leider auch nicht so vielversprechend aus... Die letzte Nachricht hats mir jetzt natürlich gegeben. Naja, halb so wild. Hab momentan leider keinen Desktop-PC zur Verfügung (außer meinen Proxmox Node), aber wenn ich mir wieder einen hole dann hau ich gleich BSD rauf. Nungut, ich habe auf meinem AN515-55 auch ein gewisses OS das sich auf "KekOS" reimt.... Ist ja quasi freebsd.
