Unterstützung AMD Hudson M1

Weiss zufällig jemand, ob OpenBSD den "AMD Hudson M1 FCH" unterstützt, der auf diversen Boards mit AMD E-350 APUs aufgelötet ist? Ich konnte leider keinerlei Infos dazu finden, weder im WebCVS, noch auf den Mailinglisten und sonstige Interrecherchen haben leider auch nicht weitergeholfen.

also sollte sogar mit der 64 bit varante klappen ...... habe so ein board mit
freebsd im einsatz als nas und habe nix gesehen an hardware was nicht auch
bei openbsd unterstuetzt wird.

Nein, das ist eine Zotac ZBOX nano AD10. Ich habe aber auch noch eine Umgebautes MSI E350IA-E44. Das funktioniert ebenfalls problemlos.
 
leider beides nicht, was ich suche. das zotac hat keine steckplätze (es soll auch ein router werden und braucht daher noch ethernet) und das MSI hat kein wlan, dafür aber einen aktiven lüfter, was ich beides gerne vermeiden würde. aber nun weiss ich, dass zumindest der Chipsatz unter OpenBSD läuft.
 
Wenn Du ein passendes Board ohne Lüfter betreibst, dann schreibe doch hier später mal Deine Erfahrungen damit. Ich bin dies bezüglich skeptisch, obwohl ich lüfterlose Lösungen bevorzuge.
 
Komplett ohne Lüfter wird es nicht gehen, es sei denn man will seine CPU im eigenen Saft braten lassen. Es sind zwar nur ~18W und ohne die Grafikkarte (schaltet sich per Powergating ab) vielleicht 8W, aber die Hitze staut dennoch. Ein langsam laufender und damit unhörbarer 120mm-Lüfter sollte auf jeden Fall ins Gehäuse.
 
Das habe ich mit dem MSI-Board gemacht. Den kleinen Quirl durch einen langsamen großen getauscht. Aber trotzdem nerven Lüfter irgendwie :grumble: Das ist an der Alix z.B. sehr sympatisch. Die kommt komplett ohne Lüfter aus. :rolleyes:
 
soekris bekommt das auch ohne lüfter hin. sind die atoms denn so viel sparsamer (vor allem bei dem riesen kühlblock?) vielleicht geht mit ein paar löchern oder schlitzen im oberen bereich was, dass der warme luftstrom entweichen kann. Haben die zacates einen überhitzungsschutz, sodass man ggf. mit einem bereitliegenden lüfter schnell wieder am start wäre?
 
Ja, die Soekris ist deutlich langsamer (nur ein Kern statt zwei) und stromsparend. Der Atom braucht nur nur ca. 4W. Zuzüglich Chipsatz.

Also falls es noch interessiert: ich habe das o.g. Board mit OpenBSD 5.0 laufen. Das ist aktiv gekühlt, laut Handbuch kann man es aber auch ohne Lüfter betreiben. Mir wurde es aber zu warm, daher habe ich den draufgeschraubt. Das Board macht einen guten Eindruck...

im prinzip kann ich der aussage zustimmen habe ja das gleiche board ohen pro
sprich ohne usb3 adber dafuer 6x sata.

die kuehlung uebernimmt der gehaeuse luefter da das board ideal im luft strom liegt.

so, endlich ist er da und fertig (aufgrund von ausfallerscheinungen seines vorgängers keinen moment zu früh und auch erst nur im vorläufigen, provisorischen, gehäuse mit "externem" netzteil)

den kleinen quirl hab ich mittlerweile durch den ehemaligen gehäuselüfter ersetzt. wäre das ganze nicht so ein propietäres sch?!$$gehäuse von siemens könnte ich auch das rückblech ersetzen und die rückwärtigen anschlüsse vernünftig benutzen. nuja, erstmal läuft's und bei gelegenheit wird das teil auch noch zum AP.

PS: der gehäuselüfter macht ca. 25° beim systemkompilieren aus (allerdings wollte ich die hardware lt. hw.sensors.km0.temp0 auch nicht auf mehr als 82° kommen lassen und habe dann den kernelcompile gestoppt)
