Hallo!
Ich habe auf FreeBSD 4.7 einen wlan access-point laufen, der seit einigen monaten klaglos funktioniert. ich gehe daher davon aus, dass die konfiguration korrekt war. während des laufenden betriebes brach plötzlich die wireless verbindung ab.
/var/log/messages meldete hierzu:
ug 15 00:32:41 server /kernel: wi0: xmit failed
Aug 15 00:34:02 server /kernel: wi0: watchdog timeout
Aug 15 00:34:02 server /kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 14b/0; last status 810b
Aug 15 00:34:02 server /kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 14b/3c; last status 810b
Aug 15 00:34:02 server /kernel: wi0: wi_cmd: busy bit won't clear.
fc80/0; last status 8
nach reboot mit unveränderter configuration ergibt ifconfig:
wi0: flags=8802<BROADCAST,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ether 00:09:5b:2f:71:22
media: <unknown type> (<unknown type>) status:
supported media: <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type> <unknown type>
der kernel scheint die karte plötzlich nicht mehr zu erkennen.
bin ratlos. wer hat einen tipp für die fehlersuche? ist das ein hardwaredefekt?
thx
