Am 25.11.2009, beim offiziellen Release. Also morgen. Wobei man die Zeitverschiebung in die USA mit einkalkulieren muss.
 
Ich bin mittlerweile auch angekotzt von den ganzen Meldungen, dass 8.0 erschienen sei. Es ist doch Sache von FreeBSD ein Release anzukündigen.

Dieser Verein von "Nachrichtenseiten" wird echt immer schlimmer, heise allen voran.

Hallöchen allerseits...

hat vielleicht irgendjemand 'ne Ahnung wo die Dateien in sys/i4b hingekommen sind? Da finde ich im ganzen ChangeLog grad nicht wirklich was dazu.

(Und hier läuft jetzt die CAPI nicht mehr (inkl. Hylafax), insb. dadurch der CAPI-Server auch nicht, wodurch auch die Clients keine mehr haben...)
 
Hmm, IIRC wurde das entfernt, weil es nicht mit dem neuen TTY-Layer zusammenspielte.

Wär ja an für sich nicht "so schlimm", wen man so was "wichtiges" (zumindest wohl für ein paar Europäer) auch in den Notes erwähnen würde. Dazu gibt's die ja um vor einem Upgrade sich informieren zu können über sowas. Jetzt erstmal schauen das ich schnell wieder auf 7.2 zurückkomme.

Jo danke. Hab auch grad gesehen, dass es bei ISDN4BSD ein Update gibt. Das letzte gab's ja 2006 und seitdem war's ja immer dabei. Dann mal separat testen ob das funktioniert, gerade wegen dem 'new "CAPI 2.0" application interface' und mit dem Hylafax bzw. CAPI-Server harmoniert.
 
Die CT hat sich noch ganz anderer Verbrechen schuldig gemacht. Zum Beispiel ist sie dafür verantwortlich, dass ich bei FreeBSD gelandet bin. Und damit auch indirekt dafür, dass ich dieses Forum heimsuche.

Allerdings kann man das auch darauf zurückführen, dass es kein entsprechendes englischsprachiges Forum gibt - das hier ist die erste deutschsprachige Community mit der ich mich eingelassen habe.
